The Radian Series GS8048 Grid/Hybrid Inverter/Charger (full-flexibility grid-interactive/off-grid) was created with the aim of making grid-interactive and comprehensive off-grid device design and implementation simpler and faster. When combined with an OutBack GS Load Center, the Radian Series makes it simpler than ever to provide successful solutions for virtually every residential, industrial, or institutional power requirement by using a streamlined approach to configure, produce, and enforce energy storage.
The Radian is a split-phase continuous power solution that is compatible with standard North American wiring. The models have a dual-power module design that ensures high efficiency in both low and high power applications, as well as redundancy in mission-critical applications, and combines pure sine wave power output technology with unrivaled surge capacity to start even the most demanding appliances.
OutBack’s FLEXgrid technology is used in all Grid/Hybrid inverters for maximum operational versatility. Unit scaling of up to 10 inverters delivering 80kW is aided by modular system architecture and a simplified parallel design (GS8048). OutBack’s strong MATE3 Control and HUB Communications Management devices make system integration and programming a breeze. In zero-clearance installations, an advanced front-vented design allows for optimal ventilation (i.e., where units are stacked next to each other). The fact that it can be serviced in the field makes servicing simpler and allows for firmware upgrades without the need for specialized equipment.
